    1978
  • Established as a manufacturing firm specializing in the production of precision surface grinders.
  • 1981
  • The first grinding machine manufacturer in Taiwan to be designated as a Grade A Manufacturer.
  • 1982
  • U.S. branch office established in Los Angeles area to provide marketing and service capabilities to U.S. customers.
  • 1987
  • Winner in the annual Excellent Product Design Contest presented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council.
  • 1988
  • Peter Chang, CEO of Falcon Machine Tools, received citation from the president of the Republic of China for Falcon’s participation in community service programs and contributions to various charitable causes.
  • 1989
  • Awarded Best Original Brand at the Taipei International Metalworking Show.
  • 1990
  • Received the Research and Development award by the Taiwan Association of Machinery Industry (TAMI) in the CNC grinding machine category.
  • 1992
  • Was Taiwan’s first machine tool maker to receive ISO 9002/CNS 12682 Quality Assurance System certification from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
  • 1993
  • FSG-818CNC awarded as one of the Top 20 Outstanding Products in the 1993 National Award of Excellence competition.
  • 1994
  • Received Certificate of CE Conformity Examination from AIB-VINCOTTE Brussels.
  • 1995
  • FSG-1224TXII received Taiwan Fine Products award at the Taipei International Machine Tool Show.
  • 1997
  • FSG-C1224CNC awarded first place for new product development at TIMTOS ’97.
  • 1998
  • Listed in the Over-the-Counter stock market. Chuang-Hsing factory completed. Invested in the second factory in Chuang-Hsing Industrial Park.
  • 1999
  • SMART-H/B818 honored as Taiwan’s Outstanding Product in the National Award of Excellence Competition.
  • 2000
  • Received ISO 14000 certification.
  • 2001
  • Sub-micron ultra high-precision CNC grinder ULTRA-H612 honored for Taiwan Outstanding Products in the National Award of Excellence competition.
  • 2002
  • Completed the first phase of our factory in Shanghai, China. Establishes sales and technical center in Beijing, Dongguang, China.
  • 2003
  • Completed the second phase of our factory in Shanghai, China. Established sales and service center in Chungqing, China. Introduced FGP-608LM, the first motor grinder made in Taiwan.
  • 2004
  • Successfully developed Hydro-H1224, a nano-precision hydro-static grinder. Introduced the quick-performance QP series machining center in its niche market.
  • 2005
  • Established partnership with Japanese manufacturer to produce vertical lathes. FGP-608LM won first prize, Award of Excellence at TIMTOS 2005.
  • 2006
  • Double-head grinder FPG-V1632DC developed with precision guideways for turbine blades in the aerospace industry.
  • 2007
  • Introduced new heavy-duty gantry-type grinder series and high-precision and heavy-duty gantry-type machining center series for automative molds and large workpieces.
  • 2008
  • Established technical joint venture with Japan's well-known manufacturers to implement a large vertical turning center machine.
  • 2009
  • Introduced a small vertical grinding center FVG-1616DC and horizontal boring and milling center.
  • 2010
  • Developed high-precision, vertical, linear-guideway, double-column machining center (DCL).
  • 2011
  • Introduced a large vertical grinding center, FVG-4040DC.
  • 2013
  • Suzhou factory opened with the goal of expanding market share in China. Introduced intelligent, automatic, aluminum-wheel production line equipment.
  • 2014
  • Participated Aerospace Manufacturing Equipment Integration Plan with the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
  • 2015
  • Introduced the 5-axis vertical machining center.
  • 2016
  • Industrial 4.0 implementation—FALCON GROUP participated “Aerospace Team 4.0”which was executed by Corporate Synergy Development Center and the Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation.
  • 2017
  • Introduced FSG-ADIV Series of fully automatic, precision surface grinders.
  • 2018
  • SMART-B818III multi-functional CNC surface grinder received the 2018 Taiwan Excellence Award.
  • 2019
  • Developed iMCS™ (iMachine Communications System) system architecture for comprehensive, 24/7 data monitoring and collecting software.
  • 2020
  • Developed our exclusive next generation of SMART iControl.
  • 2021
  • Awarded the Bronze Medal for literature from the 2021 International Summit Creative Awards.
  • 2022
  • Introduced the newly designed SMART-IV CNC surface grinders.
    Introduce the new larger-sized FSG-20ADIV Series of grinders with 20% more efficiency.
